The top model hopefuls are ready to strut their stuff on the catwalk when America’s Next Top Model returns this week. Tyra Banks will lead the panel of judges as fourteen new ladies compete to be they Cycle 16 winner of the show.
What can you expect this season? The preview reveals the usual panic attacks and case of nerves. However, some of the photo shoots will involve the models walking across water inside a floating ball, as well as bees buzzing around them while being photographed.
Along with Tyra, fashion editor Andrew Leon Talley and photographer Nigel Barker round out the judging panel. Jay Manuel is back as creative director, along with Miss J Alexander as the runway trainer.
The CWTV blog reveals that some of the guest judges for the new cycle include: international fashion designer Lana Marks, model/stylist Erin Wasson, stylist Rachel Zoe, Sudanese model and actress Alek Wek, stylist/creative consultant Lori Goldstein, Italian photographer Francesco Carrozzini, fashion model Sonia Dara, IMG Models executive Ivan Bart, Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, Brazilian designer Daniella Issa Helayel, and costume designer/stylist Eric Daman of Gossip Girl.
The winner of this season will receive a contract with IMG Models, a fashion spread in Vogue Italia, a spread and cover of Beauty in Vogue, and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics. Last season, the judges were all about finding a model who looked high fashion enough to grace Vogue Italia.
Catch all the fashion and drama when America’s Next Top Model premieres on Wednesday at 8 on CWTV.
