American Idol: Steven Tyler Says He Will “Try Not To Swear” On Live Show

March 01, 2011 02:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Tonight the top 12 guys will take the stage on American Idol on FOX and Steven Tyler says now that they are taping live he will try not to swear – but will he slip up? Keep reading to hear everything Steven had to say!

American Idol’s most talked about judge, Steven Tyler has already had his share of censorship on the show but now Steven is saying that he will try not to swear as the show tapes in front of a live audience, but he makes no guarantees either. In a recent interview with the NY Post, Steven said “We are taping live now, and I am trying not to swear, but sometimes you’ve just got to be emphatic. If someone is bleeping good, I’m going to say it.”

Steven Tyler goes on to share how much he loves being on American Idol and then added “There’s a lot of talent and some great kids out there. Now we are seeing 15 year olds who seem like they are 28.” Sounds to me like Steven is not sure he can keep from swearing, but we shall see. In any event, I am sure it will be blast as usual with him on the panel.
