Survivor: Redemption Island — ‘Keep Hope Alive’

March 02, 2011 10:00 AM by Ryan Haidet

Tonight’s episode of Survivor: Redemption Island will bring us the first official elimination of the season.  That’s because Francesca and Matt will face off in the first duel at Redemption Island.  Loser goes home for good.  Winner stays with a shot at re-entering the competition later in the season.  But that’s not all.  Another player will be voted out to join the duel’s winner at Redemption Island.  What else can we expect from episode three of Survivor: Redemption Island?  Could Russell Hantz be the next person voted off?  Read on for more details!

The episode is titled “Keep Hope Alive.”  If you’re not familiar, that is a popular saying from Russell Hantz, who is competing this season.  He signs some of his autographs with those words attached.  He even has the phrase tattooed on his arm.  Is this a tease that Russell could be in trouble this week?  Whether he’s targeted for elimination is still unclear, but a preview video on CBS.com shows Russell saying, “I’m dealing with a bunch of bitches.”  His ally Stephanie then says to Russell, “This is going to be the biggest blindside ever!”

Then over at Ometepe, a preview video shows Andrea expresses her feelings about Matt’s elimination.  Has Boston Rob met his match?

Tune in tonight as the adventure continues on Survivor: Redemption Island.
