Season eight runner up Adam Lambert returns to the American Idol stage this week on FOX Thursday during the live results show. But this time Adam is not singing for your votes, but for charity and inspiration instead. Keep reading for more details!
American Idol’s season eight runner up Adam Lambert will be performing an acoustic version of “Aftermath” on this week’s live results show on Thursday. About “Aftermath” Adam had to say “Aftermath was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It’s about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners. I hope this song inspires people to be who they truly want to be… And dance!”
Immediately following Adam’s performance on American Idol, a remix of Aftermath which Adam says “Billboard turns the song into a fresh new dance pop anthem to blast on the radio and in the clubs!” will be made available on his website Adam Lambert’s website with part of the proceeds going to support The Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis intervention and suicide prevention among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth. For more information you can visit The Trevor Project.
Be sure to tune in next week at 8 pm EST on Wednesday to see the top 13 perform on Fox and then on Thursday at 8 pm EST to see Adam’s performance!
