The Biggest Loser may have said goodbye to Sarah Nitta on the ranch this week, but in a post elimination interview, Sarah says that she is continuing her weight loss journey at home and looks forward to the finale. Here is what Sarah wanted to share with viewers and fans alike.

Question: Can you tell us what your keys are to maintaining everything you have learned?

Sarah Nitta: For me, it is to plot out my day every single day so I don’t fall behind and to just keep moving.

Question: Do you think the black team (being that it is all women) is at an advantage or disadvantage?

Sarah Nitta: I think the women of the black team are strong but they are at a disadvantage during the challenges that require strength as they are facing some tough men, however they are smart so mental challenges they have an advantage.

Question: At the end of Tuesday’s episode it mentioned you starting a new chapter of your life after the finale, can you fill us in a little more.

Sarah Nitta: My entire goal going in to this was to get healthy enough physically & mentally to have a child. I’ve lost every pregnancy that I have had. My goal after the finale is to start a family, when I get to my goal weight. My first goal is to try to carry a child to full term. If I can’t, at least I have done my part and we can pursue other options, but I will know that I have done my best.

Question: Have you spoke to the trainers about the importance of keeping up your healthy lifestyle while pregnant

Sarah Nitta: I have because that is a concern of mine about gaining weight during pregnancy. The trainers and Dr H gave me great advice that exercise is still such an important part of pregnancy as is my diet – but not cutting calories, just watching what I put in my body. I believe if I still have a plan like now I can have a healthy weight during pregnancy.

Question: What have you done at home for exercise?

Sarah Nitta: I actually learned both methods on the ranch, but I have been training MMA, doing a lot of boxing – I work out with trainer that trains fighters. It is so out of my element, I never thought I’d be able to do that before. I am also doing spin classes and group classes – I love the motivation from group classes.

Question: Are you worried about falling back into your old habits after you have a successful pregnancy?

Sarah Nitta: It’s definitely a concern, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t fearful of old habits because I am still tempted every day. I wouldn’t be human if I wasn’t but now I have the tools to be able to be more successful in my life dealing with my weight.

Question: What is the most important lesson you learned from the show?

Sarah Nitta: Learning how to eat right and exercise has been great. But the greatest lesson I have learned was to believe in myself and not fear everything. I am capable of doing anything I put my mind to. I learned to believe in myself.

Question: What has been your biggest struggle at home?

Sarah Nitta: Coming home has been a challenge because there are so many distractions, you know there are no cellphones or nothing on the ranch. I think time management has been struggle for me as well as keeping my focus has been a great challenge. Now that I am doing it at home, I can say I know what it’s like, although it’s harder at home, it is certainly possible.

Question: Do you think your elimination was a retaliation for Arthur being eliminated last week?

Sarah Nitta: I don’t think it was a retaliation, because my team absolutely supported me for coming back to the black team. Arthur and I actually have a great relationship. I was definitely very shocked at the decision to send me home. It does show that they were the original team and they stuck together.

Question: What direction did you think the elimination would go?

Sarah Nitta: There was a lot of talk that if we lost we would be sending Jen home. Marci did get immunity and to lose 5 lbs was great and I don’t think she thought about immunity, but she has more pull and could have gotten the girls to keep me there. Looking at situation and watching the show, the episode before where I was all “wishy washy” I showed that I still care about the red team and I think when they saw that they had to keep someone like Jen who would never write their names down.

Question: Why did you choose to go back to the black team and do you regret it?

Sarah Nitta: I don’t regret it. What you missed in a brief few second clip the red team told me if I went back to them they would have to send me home that week so I knew that I would be going home if I went back to red team. My last week on the black team was very crucial and a turning point for me with Bob. If I went home a week before I would have been in a different place than I am now.

Question: What was your first contact with your mom like after you were eliminated?

Sarah Nitta: When I called my mom as soon as I was eliminated she was devastated, because when she sacrificed herself they promised her they would keep me there and she felt very betrayed by the black team. She felt like it was a big slap in the face. She had a really hard time with that and still does.

Question: Can you tell us about the anxiety you were fighting?

Sarah Nitta: I was fighting to get over the fear that was controlling me and find this inner strength. Going back to the black team was harder for me to do, and Bob pushed me harder than anyone. I think pushing so far past my comfort zone made me realize that I can do anything and I have so much more strength because of that.

Question: What’s been the greatest change in your life?

Sarah Nitta: The mental changes that have come – the confidence and love I have for myself has made such a great difference.

Question: You are training at the same gym that 2 past at home winners have. Are you hoping to have the same results as Koli and Mark?

Sarah Nitta: That is what I am shooting for, both of the last 2 at home trainers were trained by my trainer and I am hoping to give him a 3rd winner.

Best of luck to Sarah Nitta, we look forward to seeing you at the finale! Be sure to tune in Tuesday for a brand new episode of The Biggest Loser on NBC!
