Secret Millionaire: on ABC takes America’s millionaires away from their lavish lifestyles and places them in poor areas to live and volunteer. Do you want to get involved in their charitable organizations? Keep reading to find out how!Last week, America watched as successful entrepreneur Dani Johnson left her family and luxurious lifestyle behind to spend six days in one of the most impoverished areas of Knoxville, Tennessee. While there, she lived off of welfare level wages, volunteered her time and figured out how much of her own money she wanted to gift the community’s heroes she met. Johnson herself was no stranger to struggling. She grew-up on welfare, was pregnant at 17 years old, homeless at 21 years old and a millionaire at 23 years old.
Now, Johnson is a multi-millionaire, entrepreneur, best-selling author, international speaker and the head of five companies.
Johnson decided to give a family in need, ten thousand dollars; a non-profit organization, Special Spaces thirty thousand dollars; the Love Kitchen, a place where members of the community can get food, twenty thousand dollars and wrote a check to The Joy of Music School for forty thousand dollars.
