From The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business Season, Harlem Globetrotters Flight Time and Big Easy took a moment to speak out about this season and their current tour. Is winning the race a slam dunk for the dribbling duo?
Flight Time and Big Easy are currently embarking on a “Four Times the Fun” tour. As they touch down in Trenton, New Jersey, they spoke with the New Jersey Times about The Amazing Race. Nathaniel “Big Easy” Lofton and Herb “Flight Time” Lang reached the final four during their first run on the Amazing Race.
While we’ve already seen father and daughter Ron and Christina bickering, Flight Time denies you will see him or Big Easy have a meltdown. He said to the Times, “We’re role models, and kids look up to us. Most teams do go crazy on the show, but we are there to have fun and have a good time, so we’re not going to start arguing, because then you don’t get to enjoy it.”
Host Phil Keoghan recently revealed that Flight Time and Big Easy were one of the most inspiring teams on the Amazing Race to him. Flight Time told the Times that if he and Big Easy won the Amazing Race, he would like to use the prize money to open a gym in the neighborhood where he grew up. This is just one of the many reasons why this team is one of my favorites this season. Tune in on Sunday to see how they react when they learn they incurred a penalty for supposedly purposely moving Christina’s bag.
