The Bachelorette: Ashley Hebert

March 15, 2011 05:37 AM by Christine McDow

If you were expecting the next Bachelorette to be announced last night during The Bachelor Finale you were left disappointed. However, Jimmy Kimmel did have the big announcement on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Ashley Hebert from this last season of The Bachelor is going to be the lucky woman looking for love starting in May, right after DWTS.

The Bachelorette will premiere on May 23, 2011 on ABC. Ashley Hebert is a 26 year old dental student from Maine and was one of the last women turned down by Brad, of which she is now very grateful. During Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel asked Ashley a very important question.

Did you miss any of The Bachelor Finale last night?

“Do you promise, on national television, to date 25 men simultaneously without complaining?” he inquired. “Do you promise to make sure the hot tubs are clean and have enough chlorine and their bacteria levels are low?”

“I’ll do my best with that,” Ashley promised.

That makes us feel much better.

Ashley has been spotted in the last week both at her dental school filming promo videos for the new Bachelorette as well as in Venice Beach, CA so the rumors were that it was in fact her. Are you surprised? What do you think about Ashley becoming the next Bachelorette? Will you be watching?

No i won’t be watching – she makes my skin crawl – those shows are getting so predictable – all of us knew it was going to be her – another drama queen – after the mess he made of this one by not choosing Chantal and taking the boring emily, im so done with these shows – OLD AND BORING!
