Joan shares her intimate thoughts about Tuesday night’s episode in her blog below.
I’ve decided to record my last will and testament on videotape.
Because it’s important for me to know that after I’m gone my wishes regarding my estate will be carried out to the letter. I’m also videotaping my will because, let’s be honest, I need to keep my S.A.G. membership active. Finally, there’s nothing like letting the people around you know you’re writing your will to get them to start treating you with a little consideration and respect, Conrad.
Obviously I’ll leave most of my estate to Melissa, but there are a few things I’d like to leave to some other friends. I’ll probably leave my good pearls to my darling assistant Sabrina, and I’ll probably leave my fake pearls to my best friend Margie. (She drinks. She won’t notice) Wait a second–this coffee is ice cold! Sabrina, you’re out of the will! Ha, ha…just kidding! I wasn’t really going to leave my pearls to Sabrina.
I’m really looking forward to our family dinner this Sunday night because Melissa is insisting that we make it pot luck and that’s something I’ve never tried before. Pot, I mean.
The other reason I’m really looking forward to Sunday is I have a huge surprise I’m going to tell everybody. I’ve found a place to live! I guarantee you Melissa is going to jump for joy when I tell her I’ve finally found a house. And when she finds out which house I’ve chosen…well, she’s just going to flip out completely, that’s all.
