Secret Millionaire: on ABC takes America’s millionaires away from their lavish lifestyles and places them in poor areas to live and volunteer. This week, meet millionaire James Malinchak.
So far, America was introduced to Marc Paskin, the president of Paskin Properties, a division of The Paskin Group, a privately owned real estate investment and management company. He went to Detroit, Michigan and helped many organizations in the community and successful entrepreneur Dani Johnson, who left her family and luxurious lifestyle behind to spend six days in one of the most impoverished areas of Knoxville, Tennessee, who also gave money to deserving organizations.
Now, meet tonight’s secret millionaire, James Malinchak, who will travel to Gary, Indiana, a city hit hard by the economic downturn. Malinchak runs a training, seminar, coaching and consulting business. He also travels the country as a requested business and motivational speaker.
Malinchak has worked with numerous celebrities and professional athletes. But a big part of his life is dedicated to serving and helping others. Most notably, he helped raise over $350,000 for various organizations, in just eight months time and personally contributed $160,000 of his own money.
Malinchak is a self-improvement specialist and is one of the top-selling authors of 16 books/ products, including co-author of Chicken Soup for the College Soul.
Malinchak is from a small steel town in Pennsylvania. He was a basketball player in high school, taking his team to the 1988 state championships.
Secret Millionaire: airs tonight on ABC at 8pm|7c.
