Who can forget this season’s most controversial yet inspirational and loved contestant on NBC‘s The Biggest Loser, Arthur Wornum? A few weeks ago we got wind of Arthur’s first public appearance since his elimination, and now Arthur was spotted enjoying life with his family at a sporting event in his new, slimmer body. What does Arthur have to say about enjoying things that he couldn’t previously? Keep reading to find out!
The Biggest Loser’s Arthur Wornum was recently snagged at a Blazer’s game in Portland – something the 34 year old father had not been able to do in 10 years. Sitting with him were father, Jesse Wornum and his children. A reporter caught up with him and he was more than happy to chat as he said “I can’t tell you how good that feels…to be able to sit down and not even have to put the arms up” of being able to enjoy the sports event with his family. He went on to add that “My dad has had season tickets since I was in the 7th grade, and I went to every home game with him.” That was until Arthur started to gain more and more weight and he was unable to enjoy such a simple pleasure.
When the Blazers heard about Arthur, they brought the whole family to the game where they got to warm up on the bench with the players – what a treat for his family, including his dad who was also on The Biggest Loser this season. Jesse, when questioned about attending the game, gave all the credit to Arthur by saying “The most important thing that’s happening here is my son is down over 340 lbs.” Way to go Arthur on your continued weight loss and inspiration! I know I speak for many when I saw we can’t wait to see you at the finale!
