The Amazing Race Preview: Circus Parade In India

March 25, 2011 02:00 PM by Allyson Wells

On this week’s episode of The Amazing Race, the remaining eight teams leave China and head for Kolkata in West Bengal, India.  Some of the racers will face a traffic collision, while another has a meltdown during the road block.

The preview reveals that one team narrowly dodges a traffic collision when overwhelmed by a swarming sea of people on the congested streets of India.  Another team will get clumsy, which threatens to spoil their chances of acing the detour.  Any guesses as to who the teams might be?  I am hoping it will be Kent and Vyxsin.  After they lied to all the other racers and were only given a thirty minute penalty for breaking the rules, it would be nice to see karma come back to bite the goths.

While on the streets, Gary and Mallory are shown riding in a small carriage and he remarks, “I feel like a monkey in a circus parade.”  If they are the team that gets clumsy, they won’t have their express pass to bail them out since they used it to gt out of last place in the previous episode.  Will they be able to stay in front of the pack or will they get lost again?

This week’s detour involves drinking tea.  Zev and Justin joke that instead of being the drinking game beer pong, they are playing tea pong.  It is not all laughs for every racer, as Luke is shown having a meltdown during the detour.  Will he pull it together to maintain his and Margie’s big lead?  Tune into The Amazing Race this Sunday to find out who is eliminated next.
