The Real Housewives of Miami: Larsa Pippen Apologizes for Her Comments

March 31, 2011 02:00 PM by Shayla Perry

It’s pretty safe to say that when Marysol Patton’s mother, Elsa, made an appearance in the season finale of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Miami, things got a little out of hand. Especially after Elsa Patton insinuated that there were problems in Larsa Pippen’s marriage to her hubby, NBA great, Scottie Pippen. But after watching the footage of the finale, Pippen took to her blog to apologize for her “out of character” behavior.

“This was my first and only time meeting Elsa [Patton], so I thought I would break the ice, and just for conversation I asked what kind of vibe she got from me,” Pippen explained after Tuesday’s (March 29) Real Housewives of Miami season finale. “By vibe I thought she was going to tell me something about my personal aura (i.e. friendly, kind, dreamer, analytical, etc.). I never expected a light-hearted question to take such a drastic turn!

“I had no intention of ruining Marysol’s dinner, but the conversation got carried away and inappropriate things were said that I took offense to,” the Housewife continues. “I must say I overreacted and acted out of character. I want to apologize for saying hurtful things; it’s definitely not the way that I feel.”

Larsa went on to explain the comment she made about Marysol Patton’s mother during Lea Black’s luncheon.

“When Marysol asked to bring her mom to my house, I jokingly said no because my mom’s a bigger bitch,” writes Pippen. “It was in no way meant to be disrespectful to Marysol, her mother, or to my mother.”

What do you think… Are you “buying” Larsa Pippen’s apology to Marysol Patton and her mother, or not? Let us know in the comments below!

Larsa is a fake person, if she was confident enough in herself and her marriage and her life, she would have just sat there and appropriately and respectfully tell or even show everyone that it did not bother her. Marysol’s mother was right on point, I heart that woman!

    H.E.L.L. No!

Lady Elsa called her out accurately. Larsa IS emotionally immature and constantly worried (like many other wives) about Pippen leaving her.

Her behavior alone confirmed Elsa’s vibes.

She’s embarrassed at her behavior and getting called out now–therefore, apology.

Larsa obviously was shaken from the start. The mom saw through Larsa’s made up persona and that very insight was enough to make Larsa show her true self. I think it’s safe to say that the marriage that is being projected on TV may not be going as well.

Absolutely not.. I really liked Larsa at first, but in the past couple of episodes, she has really let her true colors shine through. I think that Mama Elsa was spot on, and by the reaction that Larsa had, she certainly struck a nerve. Mama Elsa, even tried to tell her to see her in private, instead of putting her stuff out there for the world and Larsa’s immature nature would not let it lay. I think now she is just trying to make herself look like the good guy.. when certainly she is not. She is simply what Elsa said that she was, “IMMATURE” and from what I see now insecure.

I have no idea why these women are so into showing that they have a better man than the other. My husband is this and my husband is that. Ladies you chose to marry that person and no one can come between love honesty and respect. Larsa rain falls and it only takes a teaspoon of water of water to drown. come down to earth and breath. You are fortunate to marry a great player than spends time on the road travel with him and meet him the state.
