This week on American Idol on FOX fans were outraged and the judges were left in tears when front runner Pia Toscano was eliminated after her awesome Rock And Roll performance. But rest assured Pia is not going anywhere – in fact, she scored a record deal less than 24 hours after her elimination. Keep reading for all the details!
American Idol’s Pia Toscano has scored a record deal in less than 24 hours since her elimination, US Magazine has confirmed. In fact, Pia will record her debut album under Jimmy Iovine’s Interscope Records. According to a source with the inside scoop on the record contract says “Pia is being signed to a deal with Interscope Records who are rushing her into the studio to record an album asap. Starting Thursday night after the show, Interscope told her they wanted her and first thing Friday morning Interscope brass started calling every top songwriter and producer in town to get an album together and rush release it.”
Fans can rest assured that they will see an album release soon as the source also added “Papers are being finalized. It’s basically a done deal. She’s signing. They rushed everything but she’s so excited.” While there was no official comment from Pia yet, we can assume this young lady who handled her elimination with class has got to be nothing shy of excited as she stated in her elimination interview that she “couldn’t wait to see what my future holds.”
