Secret Millionaire: on ABC is a reality series, where six of America’s most successful business people spend a week in the country’s poorest areas, ending their stay by giving members of the community hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money. Keep reading to meet this week’s secret millionaire Ali Brown!
Brown is the founder and CEO of Ali International and has created a multimillion-dollar enterprise that is devoted to empowering women entrepreneurs around the world. In 2009 her company was ranked as one of the fastest growing private companies in the nation.
Brown launched her first venture in her New York City apartment in 1999. At one point she had less than $20 in her bank account but persevered. Brown has since built a following of over 50,000 members in her online and offline programs.
Brown was named one of 2010′s Enterprising Women of the Year and won the Ernst & Young’s Winning Women for 2010. She has been featured as an expert in the New York Post and Investor’s Business Daily. Brown is also a regular contributor to Forbes.com. In addition, her story has been told on Fox Business Network, ABC News Now, E!, and other morning shows. Brown won the StepUp Women’s Network Commitment to Philanthropy award.
In Sunday night’s episode, Brown will live and volunteer among the homeless in Venice Beach, California, looking for people and causes that need financial help.
Secret Millionaire airs tonight at 8|7c on ABC.
