The Biggest Loser: Schedule Changes Starting This Week!

April 25, 2011 02:00 PM by Lisa Princ

Just as the remaining contestants on The Biggest Loser on NBC will be returning to the ranch after their New Zealand trip, we are getting a schedule change for the show as NBC makes room for their new series, The Voice. Keep reading to find out when to tune in or set your DVR!

Apparently with all the hoopla surrounding NBC’s new series, The Voice, fans of The Biggest Loser are going to have to endure some schedule changes from now until the season finale. Both this week (April 26th) and next week (May 3rd) the show has been cut down to an hour from 8 pm – 9 pm EST. Then starting on May 10th, the show will be back to 2 hours but will be moving time slots for three week to 9 pm EST – 11 pm EST as “The Voice” will be airing for an hour in the 8 pm EST time slot.

Now, they are saying that there will be an elimination tomorrow, but I am not sure how they are going to cram a weigh in in an hour’s time. We are also hearing that makeover week is set for May 3rd, but NBC has noted 5 contestants will get makeovers, which means that two people would have to be leaving tomorrow? Stay tuned tomorrow for my preview of the episode and maybe we can find out how many players will be leaving tomorrow.

Be sure to tune in Tuesday at 8 pm EST for a brand new episode of The Biggest Loser on NBC!

One of the greatest things to help obese America is “Biggest Loser” and NBC cuts it back to one hour on 4/26 and 5/3. My family and watch this one show every week.

I do not appreciate NBC rescheduling.

I agree, very disappointing to cut such an inspirational show down to an hour for a singing competition, but unfortunately they are only after ratings :(
