April 26, 2011 02:00 PM by Shayla Perry

When Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott found out that Erienne and Jeremy had lost their wedding venue just three weeks before their nuptials, they knew they HAD to help the couple plan the wedding of their dreams on their new show, Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings. And with Shabby Chic being one of Tori Spelling’s specialties, Erienne and Jeremy were treated to a day of romance that they’ll remember forever. In her blog, Tori shares her thoughts on the couple’s Shabby Chic wedding and what compelled her to give Erienne a makeover on the Oxygen reality show.

Love the Shabby Chic wedding Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott planned on Oxygen’s Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings? So did Tori! Here’s what the reality TV star had to say about Erienne and Jeremy’s oh, so romantic nuptials in her blog.

Tori on Erienne and Jeremy losing their wedding venue just 3 weeks before their big day: “I felt devastated for Erienne and Jeremy losing their wedding venue and so close to [their] wedding date. I knew I HAD to help them. I wanted to make all their dreams come true. The wedding day should be one of the happiest days of your lives, not the most stressful. I knew 3 weeks would be crazy time wise, but I had to help them.”

Tori on the couple’s Shabby Chic theme: “I’m a HUGE fan of Shabby Chic. In my 20′s, my apartment was all Shabby Chic. It’s one of my favorite styles. It’s beautiful and cozy. I was super excited to do a Shabby Chic wedding!”

Tori on the similarities she shares with Erienne: “Erienne reminded me a lot of myself. She’s this pretty [girl] inside and out. She’s smart, sweet, and a creative girl, and I felt that she didn’t see that. I wanted her to see how amazing she is. I used to be the same way. I never thought highly of myself no matter what others said. It’s about finding your inner voice and finding self-confidence within and then making it happen for yourself.”

Tori on Erienne’s fabulous makeover: “I wanted to help Erienne with a makeover. She’s a beautiful girl, so it wasn’t about changing her appearance – it was about doing small things that would make her feel better on her special day and help her with her self confidence.”

Tori on Erienne’s idea for a boudoir photo shoot: “I was excited about her wanting to do a boudoir shoot for Jeremy. I wanted to help her feel amazing about herself on the day, and I was excited to style her and the shoot!”

Tori on the dove release: “Erienne told me she loves birds and I felt like her and Jeremy were two lovebirds that found each other. I knew somehow I’d like to incorporate birds into the wedding. Then, I thought white doves that symbolize love and peace would be perfect to release during the ceremony. It symbolizes their love and the peace they both have found now joining together as one starting their journey together.”

Tori on her favorite part of the wedding: “My favorite part of the wedding was our idea to have Erienne rowed over to the island instead of the typical walk down the aisle. I thought it was beyond romantic and very fairy tale-esque!”

I am SO over all these stupid reality shows. Everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame, for doing absolutely nothing. Tori hasn’t a talented bone in her body, she’s just ever so fortunate her father did.
