April 27, 2011 01:21 PM by Christine McDow

We recently got lucky enough to interview one of the brides from Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings Erienne Scarbury. Last week on Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings viewers watched Tori and Dean sweep in and rescue Erienne and her fiance, Jeremy’s, “shabby chic” wedding after the venue they were planning on having the wedding at cancelled on them. The new wedding included live doves and Erienne getting rowed across a pond in a little boat to meet her groom by none other than Dean Spelling. Keep reading to find out what Erienne has to say about her big day.

RTVM: What was your first reaction upon learning that Tori & Dean agreed to help you plan your wedding?

Erienne: When Jeremy and I first found out we were going to have help planning our wedding by Tori Spelling and Dean we were immediately relieved and felt so blessed. We knew we were going to be in the best hands possible and I distinctly remember jumping up and down in our living room when we received the phone call. This day will be forever etched in my memory as it was simply bliss!

See what Tori Spelling had to say about Erienne and Jeremy’s Shabby Chic wedding!

RTVM: What worried you the most about the whole experience?

Erienne: I can honestly say that nothing worried me about the whole experience. I knew Tori and Dean were going to take care us as best as they could and knew how detail orientated Tori was just as I am myself. After we had lost of venue three weeks before the wedding I told myself nothing else could possibly go wrong from there! Tori and Dean did an amazing job with our wedding and they nailed every vision we had!

RTVM: What was the best part of the experience?

Erienne: Oh my goodness, I don’t think I could possibly pick one thing about being on sTORIbook weddings as my favorite, but if I had to pick it would be becoming a stronger and more confidant woman. Thank you Tori! Also, marrying my best friend and being able to share our love story with the world! The whole experience felt much like a fairy tale!

RTVM: What happened that you and your husband and/or friends still talk about on a regular basis?

Erienne: One thing that was not shown on TV during our wedding that our friends, family members and we still talk about to this day was the cake cutting! Jeremy, being a guy, decided to SHOVE the whole piece of cake in my face! The cake was not just shoved into my face, but went into my eyeballs and straight up his nose so I was unable to see! I could have shoved a piece right back in his face but decided to try to see through my fondant covered eyes and gently drop a piece into his mouth before running straight the the restroom to clean out my eyes. This moment was so very hilarious!

RTVM: Did your family and/or bridesmaid’s rush with you to the bathroom to help you clean up and redo your makeup, did production people redo it or were you on your own?

Erienne: When Jeremy smashed our lovely cake in my face, the only thing on my mind in the moment was to get the fondant and frosting out of my eyes as soon as possible! I ran to the bathroom and my mother followed right behind me along with my maid of honor, Brandy Sharp {makeup artist, she’s amazing by the way!} and Tori. I had a whole team of people right by my side helping me get the cake off my face it was hilarious and very much appreciated! Brandy Sharp reapplied my makeup amazingly and then we were off to continue dancing and having the time of our lives!

RTVM: What did you do when you left the reception? Where did you go?

Erienne: When Jeremy and I left the reception, Calamingos Ranch was nice enough to provide our bridal party with these amazing cute cabins so after the wedding reception we all retreated to he cabins for a little while and hung out to talk about our amazing sTORIbook Wedding!

RTVM: Did you go on a honeymoon?

Erienne: Jeremy and I drove up the PCH for our honeymoon as a very spontaneous adventure! It was so much fun to just jump in the car with a few bags packed and not have any plans of where we would stop along the drive. We made our way to San Fransisco and enjoyed being there so much we decided to stay the rest of the weekend there!

RTVM: Are you still in contact with Tori & Dean, or was contact cut off after the wedding was over?

Erienne: Yes, During the whole sTORIbook Weddings experience we became very close with Tori and Dean. They are very down to earth and easy going people, just as they are shown on television. Every time I would film with Tori or Dean I felt as if I was just having fun with a friend. We have spoken to Tori a few times since the wedding and do consider them to be family in our hearts.

RTVM: What are you doing now?

Erienne: Currently I am looking for a job at the moment and working on my hair accessory line, Chateau Le Chic. My accessory line made it to Los Angeles Fashion Week this year, which was a huge accomplishment for myself and am working towards getting then line into boutiques across Southern California!

RTVM: What are your future plans?

Erienne: My future plans are to take life one day at a time and enjoy every single one of them! Jeremy has an amazing job and I am working on finding the perfect job for myself as well as continuing my crafting and accessory line. We are hoping by the end of the year to be moved into a home with our two lovely dogs!

RTVM: What are your family plans? Are babies in your future?

Erienne: No babies yet. Jeremy and I are working towards having a family and we would like to see this happen sooner than later, but it may take us a very long time to do so! We are crossing our fingers this happens within the next few years as he would be a wonderful father and I have always dreamt of being a mother.

RTVM: Anything else you want to share?

Erienne: We would truly like to thank everyone for their kind words and for loving every moment of our wedding with us! We couldn’t be happier and feel more blessed to have had this amazing opportunity to share our love story with you all. A big thank you to Tori and Dean! XOXO
