May 04, 2011 12:00 PM by Lisa Princ

FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares Chef Gordon Ramsay seems to be out and about a lot lately, but more recently the Michelin star chef, was spotted at a few sporting events including the Dodgers game in which he threw the opening pitch. Keep reading for more on what Gordon Ramsay has been up to!

Seems like since he got a new pad in LA, Kitchen Nightmares host and star Gordon Ramsay has been spotted out and about quite a bit. Just this week Gordon was asked to throw to the opening pitch at the Dodgers game, which he did – but according to TMZ.com, he ran out almost immediately after he threw the pitch. The site reports “At 6:55 PM, Ramsay threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium but by 7:50 PM he was sitting on the floor at Staples Center next to David Beckham – to watch the Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks.”

TMZ.com even did the math stating that the first pitch was thrown at 6:50, and Gordon was spotted at the Lakers game 55 minutes later, meaning he rushed out, but why? As it turns out Gordon Ramsay headed to the Lakers game to spend it with his good buddy, David Beckham, who happened to be celebrating his 36th birthday. Now if that isn’t true friendship, I don’t know what is! What do you think of Gordon Ramsay? Comment and share your thoughts with us and then be sure to tune in Friday for a brand new episode of Kitchen Nightmares on FOX!
