American Idol: “Haunted” Mansion Up For Sale!

May 08, 2011 09:00 AM by Lisa Princ

If you remember, back in March it was reported that the American Idol mansion in which the contestants stay in was supposedly haunted, and now FOX news reports that the Los Angeles home is currently on the market for sale. Keep reading for all the details!

Earlier this season on American Idol, TMZ reported that the Idol mansion was haunted as several of the contestants claimed to have seen paranormal activity and they went as far as contacting paranormal investigators. The finalists were moved out of the mansion and sent to another location after they claimed a bed sheet took on a life of it’s own and went floating down the hall. Whether or not it was the supposed paranormal or the fact that the home suffered some leak issues during heavy rains in Los Angeles, now the mansion is up for sale.

Interested in purchasing it? You’ll need to come up with a hefty 12 million dollars – a big price to pay for a place that is supposedly haunted and has a leaky roof. The home, built in 2008 has 9 bedrooms and 9 baths and according to Fox “includes a pavilion pool and spa, dual winding staircases and granite, marble and hardwood features. The second floor hosts two adjacent master bedrooms with full baths and closets. The home sits on 2.14 gated, private acres with lavish landscaping including a waterfall and koi pond.”

Do you think the mansion was really haunted? Comment and share your thoughts with us – we’d love to hear from you. Then be sure to tune in next week to see the top four performances!
