The Biggest Loser on NBC‘s trainer Jillian Michaels, who will be exiting this season recently hinted to the possibility of daytime television and now it has been confirmed. In fact, she has not only scored one, but two new daytime television gigs. Keep reading for all the details!

We learned this season that it would be last season on The Biggest Loser for trainer Jillian Michaels as she is on a quest to start a family, however it has recently been confirmed the fitness guru will be joining two daytime television shows. According to an official announcement, she has been slated to join the daytime syndicated talk show “The Doctors” as a co-host next season as well as serve as a special correspondent on “Dr. Phil”. Executive producer and creator of “The Doctors” Jay McGraw officially announced in a press release that “Health and wellness expert and fan favorite Jillian Michaels of ‘The Biggest Loser’ has been signed to a multi-year deal to join the team of experts on the Emmy Award-winning daytime series ‘The Doctors’”.

McGraw went to add about Jillian joining the team “Jillian Michaels is the perfect addition to ‘The Doctors’ team. She not only embraces our mission to supply viewers with critical information to make informed and intelligent health care decisions, but more importantly, she leads by example. Jillian has been one of our most popular guests, and we’re thrilled to give her a permanent seat at the table on ‘The Doctors’, where she will focus on Wellness, Prevention and Lifestyle dynamics in addition to other health-related issues. Our doctors all love Jillian and could not be more excited about her joining the team.”

Jillian Michaels, who will also focus on similar issues with Dr.Phil, had this to say about her new co-hosting gig “I could not be more excited about joining such an amazing show! My greatest passion is helping people live their healthiest, happiest lives by empowering them with information and support. This is literally the most informative show in daytime, and it allows me to continue to educate people on how to make powerful health choices enabling them to take control of not only their physical well-being, but every facet of their lives. I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent as a guest on the show and becoming a permanent member of the team makes today one of the best yet.”

Jillian, who still plans on pursuing motherhood also says she could not pass up this opportunity to help people and she is excited that viewers will get to see a completely different side of her than we have seen on The Biggest Loser. Jillian leaving Biggest Loser is a huge blow to the show. There is no way she can make the same contributions on daytime television that she is making on B.L. This is a sad, sad day.

Jillian will be greatly missed. I watch the show just to see how she motivates….I am a Jillian wanna be and I will really miss her. Hopefully Bob will stay, Jillian cannot be replaced.

I wish her all the luck in the world with her life.
