Just days after pictures of her dancing nude at Scores Gentlemen’s Club surfaced, Danielle Staub of Bravo‘s The Real Housewives of New Jersey has quit her new job as a stripper, telling People magazine that she suffers from low self-esteem stemming from childhood sexual abuse, and asking Celebrity Rehab’s Dr. Drew Pinsky for help.
“I have addictions with love and low self-esteem, and I need help!” Staub tells People. “My low self-esteem derived from childhood sexual abuse has messed with my mind and self-worth, and over the years I thought about getting help but pushed it deep into the depths of denial.
“For years I have had the suicide hotline on my cell phone and would like nothing more than to free myself from this constant pressure.
“Seeing how I have hurt myself and my family this time, I can no longer push it behind me.”
The former star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey signed a deal with Scores Gentlemen’s Club in New York City, which Staub claims her previous handlers “coaxed” her into. After pictures of her striptease surfaced online, Danielle, 48, “walked away” from the agreement, and has since made a public plea to Celebrity Rehab‘s Dr. Drew Pinsky to help her with her emotional problems.
Dr. Drew has not yet responded to Danielle Staub‘s request for assistance.
Staub, who left RHNJ after issues with her cast mates, is currently working on a new project with fellow reality stars Heidi Montag and Jake Pavelka.
