16 and Pregnant: Joshua Drummond Arrested on Felony Charges

Joshua Drummond, from the popular MTV series, 16 and Pregnant, was arrested this past Monday in Monroe County, MI. Josh is being charged with several felonies – seven to be exact.
Joshua Drummond was featured on the second season of the popular teen series 16 and Pregnant as boyfriend to Nikkole Paulun. He was not a doting boyfriend or father on the show and apparently he’s not a mama’s boy either – since his mother is the one who turned him over to the police.
TMZ reported Drummond’s forged five checks from his mother’s account – totaling $270.00 He is currently charged with five counts of forgery, one count of larceny and one count of violating probation. His bail is posted at $20,000 and he is looking at possibility of heavy jail time. If Drummond’s is convicted, he is looking at up to four years behind bars for larceny and fourteen years for each forgery charge.
Drummond’s arrest for such acts doesn’t come as a surprise to viewers who watched his antics on the show. He was disrespectful to Nikkole throughout her pregnancy and labor. Who can forget the way he treated Nikkole during her intense labor? He was no class act then and apparently fatherhood hasn’t matured him.
Joshua is not the only teen from season two to face legal problems – remember Jenelle Evans and all her drama? Hopefully the teens will keeping watching this MTV show and learn more about how to prevent teen pregnancy and maybe – just maybe – listen to their parents advice every once in a while.
