Are you counting down to the season ten finale of American Idol on FOX? Here at Reality TV Magazine we are and we will even be live Tweeting for you! We just learned some spoilers as well for the performances tonight, so only read on if you don’t mind being spoiled – otherwise turn away!
As American Idol gears up for its youngest finale ever tonight, we’ve learned that the top two will sing three songs tonight and rumor has it that they will be performing one personal favorite from the season, one will be their personal Idol’s choice (Carrie Underwood for Lauren and George Straight for Scotty), and the third is the song the winner would record for their first single, should they win.
With that in mind, TMZ is reporting that Lauren Alaina will sing a tune called “Like My Mother Does” which is co written by Nikki Williams, who just so happens to be the daughter in law of Nicholas Cage, thus where they claim to have gotten the information from.
In Scotty McCreery’s case rumors have it that the young country crooner recently recorded a song written by Tim Nichols, who wrote “Live Like You Were Dying” by Tim McGraw, but will that be his “winning” song, should he win? TMZ reports that Scotty will be performing a tune called “Love You This Big” which we assume would be the song written by Tim Nichols.
