Tonight on The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert takes her remaining bachelors to Las Vegas, where there will be two one-on-one dates and a group date. Keep reading for all of the highlights, and to find out who will make it through tonight’s rose ceremony!
At the house, Ames reads the first date card – William will join Ashley one-on-one to ‘make a splash’ in Vegas. The other guys react – jokingly telling Will they hope he doesn’t come back. Ashley shows up in a sports car and greets everyone. She and Will drive off together.
William and Ashley board a small plane which takes them to Las Vegas. Back at the house, Jeff tells Ames he will reveal his face to Ashley on his first date with her.
As Will and Ashley arrive in Vegas they have to fend off fans. Ashley decides to put Will through a marriage test. They go to sample wedding cakes, look at engagement rings, and finally end up at a wedding chapel. When they get to the altar, Will shocks Ashley by saying “I do!” She tells him maybe eventually they will do it for real. He declares this to be his best first date ever and they kiss. Ashley declares that she’s falling for him after only half the date.
For the evening portion of the date, Ashley tells Will they will be dining in the water in front of the Bellagio. After they row out to their table, several girls yell out to Ashley, “We love you!” Will and Ashley get down to talking about themselves. Will talks seriously about family, and shares that he lost his father to alcohol. He says his watch is forever set to the time his father passed away. Ashley says his story hits home – she’s grown up with the same issues with her father. Ashely offers Will the rose and he accepts – they kiss as the fountains go off and onlookers cheer!
Back at the house, the group date card arrives. The twelve guys, including bad guy, Bentley, head out for their flight to Sin City. Ashley greets each of them with a hug. They go to the Monte Carlo Theatre where they see the Jabbawockeez on stage. Ashley disappears and shows up on the stage. She then tells the guys they’ll be rehearsing with them. Non-dancer types freak out a little.
A member of the Jabbawockeez splits the guys into two crews – they will compete to appear in that night’s show. Backstage, the two crews have about half an hour to create a dance routine. One crew comes up with a rose ceremony theme and call themselves ‘No Rhythm Nation’, while the other does a wedding theme and call themselves ‘The Best Men’. Both are determined to win and stay in Vegas with Ashley. ‘No Rhythm Nation’ win. ‘The Best Men’ head back to the house. Ashley and the six guys in ‘No Rhythm Nation’ join the Jabbawockeez for their live show.
After, Blake pulls Ashley aside. They compare notes on being dentists. West Lee takes his turn next. He tells her about his wife dying and assures her he’s ready to move on. Bentley, who is very competitive, is determined to win the rose, despite his disinterest in Ashley. He does tell the cameras that he is willing to have her ‘tickle his pickle’. Ugh. Poor Ashley opens up to Bentley and tells him she feels something for him. She pleads with him to stick around if he feels something for her. Bentley gloats to the camera that it’s like the game is over before it’s even begun. She gives him the rose.
The final date card arrives at the house – Mickey and JP have to flip a coin to see who will join Ashley in Vegas for the one-on-one date. Mickey wins – he’s pumped. Ashley greets him when he arrives, telling the camera he’s gorgeous. Continuing with the gambling theme, they flip to decide on red or white wine. They take their wine to the Shark Reef Aquarium, where they get to know each other better.
At the house, Jeff grows increasingly uncomfortable in the house. The other guys feel that the mask is putting him at a disadvantage, noting that his personality isn’t really shining through.
Ashley and Mickey begin the evening portion of their date. Again, she comments on how good he looks. They go to a suite overlooking the strip to have dinner. Mickey says he has a fairly large family, but tells Ashley his mother passed away six years ago. She is moved. Mickey is stunned when Ashley suggests they flip another coin to see if he gets the rose. He gets the rose and keeps the coin. They head to a makeshift beach and walk in the sand. Mickey is taken by surprise again when they get a private concert from Colbie Callait. They kiss.
At the cocktail party, JP takes Ashley aside quickly, hoping to make an impression since he was denied a date. They flip a coin and he gets a kiss. Ashley encourages him by saying they have good times ahead. Nick then teaches Ashley some line dancing steps. Will, who already has a rose, interrupts. He gets a kiss, but Jeff the masked man lurks. He stops her on the staircase and tells her how at age 29 he suffered a brain hemmorage that ‘reset’ his life. He divorced after that. Just as he’s about to remove the mask, Matt interrupts them and the opportunity is lost. Ashley also talks to Ben C.
Bentley continues to be a total clod by listening to William’s description of their waterfront date and musing to the camera that he’d rather swim in pee. He decides to show off by grabbing Ashley for alone time and kissing her. He brags to the others that once he kisses her the sky’s the limit. They roll their eyes at his arrogance. Ashley, meanwhile, tells the camera that her gut tells her to trust him – he seems very sincere.
The Rose Ceremony
William, Bentley, and Mickey have roses. Ashley offers roses to West, Constantine, Ryan P, Ben C, Nick, Ames, Lucas, Jeff, JP, Chris, Ben F, and Blake. Leaving are Ryan M, Matt, and Stephen.
