Coming only a week after her reveal that she was turned down twice for America’s Got Talent, American Idol on FOX‘s season ten runner up, Lauren Alaina has just inked a major record deal. Read on for details!
American Idol’s season ten runner up, Lauren Alaina recently broke into the top 10 with her single “Like My Mother Does” and now it has been revealed that the 16 year old star has inked a major record deal. According to MTV, it has been confirmed that Lauren has signed with Mercury Nashville and is excited about her future album. Lauren was accompanied by none other than Scotty McCreery at the time – we are beginning to wonder if there is a love story starting up here (although both have denied it in the past).
So what can we expect to hear on Lauren’s album? Country of course! Lauren told MTV news that her album will definitely be country, but if it crosses over that is okay with her also. Lauren happens to love upbeat, dancing songs as well so we may get some of those on her upcoming album as well. Her inspiration? Taylor Swift – Lauren hopes to have the same success and luck in the industry.
Are you looking forward to Lauren Alaina’s new album? We can’t wait! Comment below and share your thoughts with us!
