X Factor: Cheryl Cole Slams Simon Cowell And Could Care Less About Making It In America

Through all the drama that has surrounded FOX‘s X Factor recently, Cheryl Cole has remained silent – until now. Despite Simon Cowell’s claim that he was protecting her, Cheryl is pissed and slammed Simon recently as well as told reporters that she could care less about whether or not she makes it in America. What else did she say? Keep reading to find out!
Fox’s X Factor hasn’t even aired yet and it has been nothing shy of dramatic with all the juggling of the judging panel for the upcoming show. After being fired, then invited back and publicly apologized to by Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole is furious – and we don’t blame her! After keeping silent for the past month while all of this went down, Cheryl recently opened up about what happened and said “I’m actually really happy not to be on the show now. It was definitely the right decision for me. I was so badly mucked around by Simon and everyone involved. I don’t want that in my life any more. I’m better off without it.”
As happy as she may be and though she did not clearly admit it, a source close to the star says because Simon Cowell made a mockery of her, she considers their friendship done. Cheryl Cole has also said that it was not her dream to work in the United States, it was Simon’s – in fact she could have cared less as she added “If I never come famous in America then that’s fine with me.”
So what is next for Cheryl Cole? That is yet to be determined, but we do know that Cheryl has turned down offers to return to “Girls Aloud” and she is thrilled to be back in Britain where she feels she belongs. Actually by saying ” could care less” means there is some caring there, which despite what she says, she did care enough to sign up for the show in America

It should be “couldn’t care less” of course.
