The Bachelorette’s Ashley Hebert Angry Over Questionable Intentions

June 21, 2011 07:29 AM by Candace Young

On last night’s fourth episode of The Bachelorette, the process of finding true love continued to be a difficult one for Ashley Hebert.  She enjoyed a solid one-on-one date with Ben F, but things went downhill from there. Keep reading to learn what Ashley’s thoughts are about the episode, including why she actually became angry at one point…

Though still plagued with questions about what might have been with Bentley, Ashley claims to have gone into the fourth episode of The Bachelorette in Chaing Mai in a much better frame of mind.  She chose Ben F for the one-on-one date because, as she noted in her People blog, he stood out on the orphanage group date the previous week. She said of Ben, “I learned from this date that Ben was the total package. He was easy to be around, interesting to talk to, and had so much depth to him.”  She even went on to indulge in some kissing with him during the evening portion of the date.

The group date involving Muay Thai boxing, of course, went horribly awry. Ashley says the intention of the date was to do something active and ogle the guy’s bodies, but as it turned out, the trainers were actually frightening, and the boxing was more intense than she was prepared for.  Ashley explains, “It seemed as if they were taking out some hidden aggression on each other! They were kicking and punching as hard as they could. I never thought it would go as far as it did. Poor Ames was a trooper.”

If the group date was bad, then the two-on-one was a nightmare. Ashley says she went into it with questions about the feelings she had for both guys, hence her no-nonsense reaction to William’s claims about Ben C.  Ashley wasn’t pleased. She blogged, “I found myself growing angry and realized that it wasn’t worth keeping anyone here if they were even somewhat concerned about their online date-ability after they left.”  She goes on to say that she and Ben C both had questionable feelings for one another, and as for William, she was simply unable to re-establish a connection with him since so much had happened.

Last was Ashley’s conversation with Chris Harrison about needing closure on the Bentley front. Though it seems crazy for her to be fixated on such a douchebag, let’s not forget that she was still in the dark, or as she put it, “mystifyed,” with regard to his departure.  Ashley stressed in her blog that she truly needed answers at that point.

Check out a preview of Bentley William’s return.

What is Ashley thinking? Is she really ready for “LOVE”? Bentley was never anything special from the beginning. If that is the kind of man that she is looking for then all the remaining guys need to go home and find “LOVE” another way. She is setting herself up for failure – ask Bentley’s x-wife. It seems that this was all staged for ratings and if not then why would “Chris” not stop this before she gets really devastated. ENOUGH OF BENTLEY – ALREADY…

If I hear one more week of “BENTLeY” this will be the end of this show for me forever. I would have a lot more respect for “CHRIS” if he would have stepped in and cut Bentley loose early in the show when it came to light as to the whole reason as to why he was there and was not of Ashley. And if I was Ashley I would be pissed @ Chris for not stopping this side show… What a circus…..

Ashley is the worst Bachelorette to date in my opinion. So phoney, everything seems so made up this year. If she says Bentley one more time I think I might throw up.

I really was happy that Ashley was getting a second chance at love. Now not so much. How can she not see what an ass Bentley is. He was so phony right from the beginning. The comment he made about his hair made me want to puke. What an arrogant ass. I thought they screened the men for idiots like that. If she allows him to continue on the Bachelorette I think that will be the end of me watching it. She is going to look like a fool when she finally gets to see the whole episode.

I agree, she is the worst Bachelorette to date. This show has gone downhill so far it’s ludicrous. If you watch her closely she is not attached to any of these guys. Sometimes she looks bored as heck and is just pretending to listen. Fusses with her hair constantly as if posing for the best camera angle, etc. If you want to bring this show back to its original intent give us people we can actually care about. And what gall to ask Chris if she can see Bentley one more time. That is a RED flag, she is not interested in any of the others, just playing it out for the media attention. In “real” life, she would be considered a player. And not be very respected for it.
