Are you ready for the biggest news ever? The Bachelor’s Brad Womack and Emily Maynard have announced they have officially split! Okay, that was a lot of build up for something we really didn’t need confirmed — we already knew it. So, does that mean Emily Maynard will be on the next season of The Bachelorette?
Despite the rumblings over their split, there still was no official announcement from the pair, until now. Maynard, 25, opened up to People magazine in a statement confirming her and Brad Womack are over.
“We’re no longer engaged,” Maynard told People. In a separate statement, Brad Womack revealed, “The demise of our relationship was completely my fault.” Really, he was at fault? He was a repeat contestant with emotional baggage, so making that declaration isn’t anything we didn’t already concoct in our own heads
With this latest gasp-worthy (we’re being sarcastic) breakup in The Bachelorette/The Bachelor franchise, it got our minds wondering: With Emily Maynard back on the market, would she make a good candidate for the next edition of The Bachelorette? Hey, third times a charm, right. Let’s break it down, shall we?
Emily Maynard is a single mother with a story that includes tragically losing her child’s father, a NASCAR driver. Now, she has a failed relationship from a reality show added to her resume. In our minds, that makes her perfect.
This wouldn’t be an examination of Emily Maynard if we didn’t bring the mean-spirited elephant in the room into the picture — Bentley Williams.
Bentley Williams has been pining over Emily Maynard since the beginning of this season’s The Bachelorette with Ashley Hebert. Williams was so disappointed Ashley Hebert wasn’t Emily Maynard, that he left the show, leaving a trail of insults behind him.
Should Emily Maynard head over and became the next contestant on The Bachelorette, do you you think Bentley Williams should be allowed to compete again? He’s such a jerk, but can we tell you a secret? We’d totally watch! We have this beautiful picture painted that Maynard would cut Bentley Williams and the high horse he rode in on down to size. Maybe wait until the final rose ceremony and humiliate him in front of the world.
Wow, that’s a lot hate for some reality show contestant. Sound off in the comments section below and tell us what you think.
