Last night we saw the top 16 performances and lots of kisses on So You Think You Can Dance on FOX, and tonight one guy and one gal would be heading home. After the votes were tallied, it became clear that love, sex and kisses ruled last night! Read on for more…
So You Think You Can Dance’s live results show kicked off tonight with the top sixteen giving us a performance to “The Incredibles” theme song and then we watched Kristin Chenoweth’s new music video. But then it was time for some results and the first three couples took the stage: Melanie and Marko, Ashley and Chris, and Ryan and Ricky. Cat revealed that both Melanie and Marko as well as Ryan and Ricky were safe. Ashley and Chris were the first couple heading into the bottom three tonight.
After a break, Jordan and Tadd, Sasha and Alexander, as well as Miranda and Robert took the stage for their results. Jordan and Tadd were reviewed first and it was revealed that Nigel was correct to say that they would not be going anywhere. After reviewing the other performances, Cat revealed that Miranda and Robert were the second couple in the bottom three tonight, and Sasha and Alexander were safe.
So who would be joining the bottom three as the final couple? Last up on the stage were Clarice and Jess along with Caitlyn and Mitchell. After a review of their performances, Caitlyn and Mitchell were the final couple in the bottom three, leaving Clarice and Jess safe. Afterward, we watched a beautiful performance by Axis Dance Company.
Then it was time for the bottom six to dance for their lives, and to be honest none of the girls stood out at all – didn’t we have the same issue last week? The guys were much better, making this a tough decision once again for the judges. Eric Luna and Georgia Ambarian were up next with a beautiful ballroom routine and then it was time to find out who would be leaving us tonight.
After a long discussion between Nigel, Mary, Lil C and Kristin Chenoweth, the girls were up first. Nigel revealed that the decision was not unanimous that Miranda would be heading home. Then it was time for the guys and this time it was unanimous that Robert would be heading home. Best of luck to both of these talented dancers. Be sure to tune in next Wednesday as the top 14 compete once again for your votes!
