As we previously reported would happen, The X Factor world premiere preview went down right before the MLB All-Star game. Read on to find out why Simon Cowell’s worst nightmare came true in the preview.
Picture it, Simon Cowell applauding the worst singers in the world and nurturing the dreams of young hopefuls who clearly have no shot at stardom. Okay, now that you have the vision in your head, we can tell you that’s exactly what happened during the world premiere preview of The X Factor. Simon Cowell’s worst nightmare came true — he became nice.
Tell us the world premiere preview of The X Factor before the MLB All-Star game wasn’t hysterical? Simon Cowell giving words of encouragement to a little girl who doesn’t give a Cowell-esque performance of Tomorrow is such an irony that the concept was brilliant. Of course, the rest of the judges’ panel which included Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Nicole Scherzinger did their parts to look like kind souls, but we knew it wouldn’t last long.
Did you love the part where Simon Cowell woke up from his nightmare of wanting to make “people’s dreams come true” and the real promo for The X Factor started? It looks like it’s going to be an in your face kind of show.
The X Factor premieres on September 21 on Fox and will reunite Simon Cowell with his friend and former American Idol judge Paula Abdul. The show also made news recently when it was announced Nicole Scherzinger would replace original judge Cheryl Cole.
What did you think of the world premiere preview of The X Factor?
