Canadian Version Of Cash Cab Involved In Deadly Accident

The Canadian version of the hit reality game show Cash Cab was involved in a deadly accident. Read on to get the details of the July 15th accident…

On Friday, July 15th a member of the technical staff for the Canadian version of Cash Cab was driving back to the show’s offices in the taxi when he a hit 61-year-old pedestrian. The man was reportedly rushed to a hospital where he later died of his injuries.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Vancouver police are investigating the tragic accident and everyone involved has been cooperating. At this time, it’s not known who was at fault.

A statement from producers of Cash Cab said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his friends and his family. My heart also goes out to the driver of the vehicle, a member of our technical staff, who is shaken and devastated by this tragic accident, as is our entire team.”

This has been a devastating time for pedestrian accidents. A 15-year-old boy recently lost his life when the car service Lamar Odom was driving in struck a motorcycle, hitting the boy in the process. He died of his injuries after being taken to a New York hospital.
