Tonight is the final dance for one guy and one gal on So You Think You Can Dance on Fox after last night’s top 10 performances. Did America take the advice of Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Neil Patrick Harris? Keep reading to find out!
After a group routine by the top 10, the live results of So You Think You Can Dance got right into the results as Cat called the first contestants up to the center of the stage. Mitchell Kelly, Tadd Gadduang and Melanie Moore were up first and Cat announced that after his performance last night, Mitchell Kelly was in the bottom four. After making Tadd and Melanie think that one of them would be joining Mitchell, she informed them that they were both safe – nothing like freaking them out a bit, huh?
After a break, more contestants were up to hear their fate: Marko Germar, Sasha Mallory and Clarice Ordaz. After reviewing his performance, Marko was sent off to safety while the gals remained. Next Cat revealed that the gal who would be dancing for her life tonight along with Mitchell was Clarice Ordaz. Next, the All Stars for next week were announced to be Ivan, Jaimie, Anya, Pasha, Lauren G, Neil, Ade, and last season’s winner, Lauren.
Cat Deeley then announced that Lady Gaga will be joining the panel next week before getting to more results. Up next were Jess LeProtto and Ricky Jaime, but which one of these guys, who both put on great performances last night, would be heading to the bottom? Ricky Jaime would be joining Mitchell and Clarice in the bottom four. Then the remaining two gals were up: Caitlynn Lawson and Jordan Casanova – Jordan was the contestant that Nigel told the fans to “wake up and keep” last night. Unfortuantely, America did not agree with Nigel as Jordan Casanova was the final contestant in the bottom four.
Next up on So You Think You Can Dance’s live results show continued with the bottom four solos, in an attempt to get the judges to save them. But before the judges could make any decision, we got to see a performance by the girl group “Blush” featuring Snoop Dog. When the cameras zoomed in on the judges, they were really into deliberations, looking as Nigel and Neil having trouble coming to a decision.
After a break, Nigel Lythgoe announced that the judges were unanimous in their decisions tonight (although it didn’t look that way to us) and he called the girls and guys on the stage together. Nigel reminded the bottom four that they would be going on tour and that the judges had nothing bad to say about them or their performances. Then he revealed that Mitchell Kelly and Clarice Ordaz would be heading home this week!
