When Ashley Hebert sent Ames Brown home this week on The Bachelorette, we said it was a bad move. Apparently, Ames Brown’s stomach couldn’t handle the rejection either — he threw up over the elimination. Read on to find out the, well, gross details.
Ames Brown was the nicest guy and probably the best match for Ashley Hebert in terms of sincerity on The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, she didn’t think so and sent him home, leaving the poor guy with nothing to do but throw up. What caused Ames to lose his lunch?
Ames told reporters during a conference call, “I just wanted to exit as gracefully as possible. And she has great things ahead of her, I just didn’t want to be any kind of [damper] on that. But it was an awful, awful week. I probably got out of the limousine where I gave my interview and threw up or something like that. It was unbelievable. I have to admit I was totally disconnected in terms of what I was feeling and I guess what was going on.” All together – gross!
Ames Brown had hopes of a nice, natural progression when it came to his relationship with Ashley Hebert, but slow and steady doesn’t always win the race it seems.
His reasons for doing The Bachelorette tugged at our heart strings: “I’ve been single for quite a long time – more than a year. I guess I just believe that love occurs in unepxected places. For me it actually did occur on the show.”
Will he be on the next Bachelor? ”I doubt that would ever even be an option, but I don’t know. Right now, I’m just focused on finding the right woman to spend the rest of my life with and continuing my career in finance,” he said.
Ames will, however, be on the news season of Bachelor Pad, which begins airing on August 8th.
