The Voice’s judge Cee Lo Green braved the heatwave today for a performance in New York City on “Today”. While there, Cee Lo sat down with Matt Lauer to discuss the show in which he said: “I love the freedom. I love the foresight. I love the future of it,” referring to The Voice. “It’s really the endorsement of the underdog and that attitude, and we are a majority. I feel like I get to be an advocate of such a thing, and it’s really pleasurable for me.”
Cee Lo Green loves his judging gig on The Voice and is very excited for season two and how great the show took off. Cee Lo added: ““From what I’ve heard, that’s four times the amount of people from the first season,” when asked about the massive crowds lining up for auditions for season two in New Jersey. He also boasted: “That goes to show what a great success the show has become.”
