American Idol’s Haley Reinhart Inks Record Deal With Interscope

July 26, 2011 08:00 AM by Lisa Princ

A few weeks ago, we learned that Pia Toscano signed a deal with interscope records, and now it looks like American Idol‘s Haley Reinhart is following in her footsteps. We’ve learned that our favorite Blues/Jazz singer from Idol has just signed a deal with Interscope. Read on for more!

Who can forget Haley Reinhart, who finished in third place on season ten of American Idol? Love her or hate her, one thing is undeniable – Haley has a unique voice that we knew would be noticed by someone other than Idol viewers. Apparently, Jimmy Iovine is taking her on as she has reportedly signed a deal with Interscope and 19 Recordings, a source from the label confirmed today according to various sites.

Though no official announcement has been made, we are told that Interscope will be making the announcement soon. Haley Reinhart had somewhat of a rollercoaster ride this season on American Idol as she found herself in the bottom many times, but near the end of the season she seemed to come back even stronger, earning her standing ovations and a lot of praise. Our readers have had mixed opinions on her with some saying she was the best, and others thinking her attitude killed it for them. What do you think of Haley Reinhart and will you purchase her new album?

LOL…southern country fans want their women barefoot, silent and compliant. The fact that Haley is a strong, confident woman, and stood up for herself does not mean she has a poor attitude. All the interviews and fan videos show a humble, sweet young woman…all the best to Haley, and I look forward to her first record.

Wow, it took her a long time to find someone who wanted to sign her!

Yep, that was quite a long time… all of two months must have been an eternity!
