Avril Lavigne and Adam Lambert Joining Majors & Minors As Mentors!

July 29, 2011 10:23 AM by Kristin Watson

Hub TV is bringing out the big guns for its new reality series Majors & Minors. Big names included on the mentors list are Avril Lavigne and Adam Lambert. Read on to find out what other major music stars will be joining as the show’s mentors.

Hub TV’s mentor list for their new reality show Majors and Minors is huge. With Avril Lavigne, Adam Lambert, Colbie Caillat and Claude Kelly joining already announced names Brandy, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston, Mike Posner and Ryan Tedder, the minors (contestants) of the show will have to bring their A-game.

Majors & Minors premieres on Hub TV September 23 after a nationwide online search was narrowed down to 12 of the best. What are the finalists fighting for? A deal with the RCA/Jive Label Group and the amazing chance at a cross-country concert tour. That doesn’t sound bad at all.

What makes Majors and Minors different? None of the bright young stars are being “voted off.” Yes, there will be a clear winner when all is said and done but according to the release it’s a chance for the young talent to be mentored and guided in a positive setting.

We can not wait to see if Adam Lambert guides the youth on dramatic rocking or if Avril Lavigne gives the green talent some advice on taking the world by storm at a young age. Oh, and we’re pumped to hear their singing advice too.

Will you be tuning in for some major competition when Majors and Minors premieres on Hub TV September 23?

I will tune in to anything Adam is on, think he will be a great mentor to young artists, he is an inspiration to always be true to yourself, love yourself but with a sense of humility.

I will watch to see the wonderful Adam Lambert. He did a spectacular job when he mentored on Idol 09, so the new kids are really going to be lucky to have him advise them. Love love love Adam Lambert!

I would think that as someone who has been on stage since the age of 10, Adam would be a good mentor. And I love Avril’s singing and Claude Kelly’s writing. This should be pretty good.
