After last night’s edition of The Men Tell All, the only thing left to find out on this season of The Bachelorette is which man Ashley Hebert will choose. Ashley and her bachelors, Ben and JP, are in Fiji for the finale. But before the guys face the final rose ceremony, they must first face Ashley’s family. Keep reading for a sneak peek of what’s ahead on tonight’s show…
As you might have heard, the season finale of The Bachelorette won’t be drama-free. Reality Steve confirms that JP will have major difficulties with Ashley Hebert’s sister, Chrystie. Apparently, Chrystie just doesn’t see JP as the right match for Ashley, and grills him until he’s on the verge of tears. Nasty! This leads to a sisterly shouting match in which Ashley calls Chrystie a bitch.
Naturally, Chrystie really likes Ben, which is why this whole drama with the sister has a manufactured feel to me. Ben admits to Chrystie that he’s fallen in love with Ashley.
Ben and JP are both ready to propose as evidenced by them picking out engagement rings.
When the time comes, Ben pops the question to Ashley in traditional style (down on one knee). She crushes Ben by saying no. It’s a bitter Ben who leaves Ashley crying guilty tears.
JP whips in on a seaplane, professes his love to Ashley, and also proposes. This time, Ashley returns the loving feelings and says yes. Reality Steve was thrilled to report that I Can’t Fight This Feeling by REO Speedwagon, their song from the roller rink date, plays in the background as they celebrate.
After the Final Rose.
Ben gets a chance to confront Ashley first as to what happened with their relationship. She basically explains that JP had her heart.
JP joins Ashley on stage and they talk about how happy they are, and discuss how they stayed in touch while apart. Sister Chrystie pops by to make amends with JP, conceding that she realizes now that JP is right for Ashley.
Ashley shares her plans to move to New York City to be with JP, and the show gives the happy pair a return trip to Fiji.
