It has been weeks since we first learned of the split between Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and now the American Idol judge has opened up about their split for the first time since they made the announcement. What did Jennifer Lopez have to say? Read on to find out!
American Idol’s Jennifer Lopez recently opened up to Vanity Fair Magazine, for the first time since her split with Marc Anthony declaring that she “loved herself enough to walk away.” While Jennifer Lopez did go into details, she did mention that her need to be treated properly attributed to the couple’s split, and she also told the magazine: “Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself – if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me.”
But Jennifer Lopez will not be giving up on love anytime soon, as she also said that she still believes in love, and she looks forward to the future. Jennifer vowed to be the “best” mother, entertainer and person as possible in her future. So, what did she have to say about her soon to be ex-husband, Marc Anthony? Jennifer did not have anything bad to say about Marc, in fact she did note how well the pair work together adding: “I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”
As for her career, there has still been no official announcement, but sources are saying that Jennifer Lopez may have struck a $20 million dollar deal with Fox to return to American Idol.
