Can you imagine what goes through a guy’s head when he decides to propose to a girl? That’s a huge leap of faith a man takes and Ben Flajnik was willing to jump for The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert. Now we understand that Ashley chose J.P., but did she really have to let Ben get down on his knee?
We all watched as two men proposed to Ashley Hebert on last night’s season finale of the Bachelorette. Ashley and J.P. seem smitten with each other, which is great that she’s so happy! But if Ashley knew J.P. was the one, why did she let Ben propose?
Is it me or should Ashley have pulled an Ali Fedotowsky? You know what I’m talking about! Remember when Ali let Chris Lambton go before they even had a chance to go on a final date. Ali already knew in her heart that she was in love with Roberto Martinez and she just didn’t want to make Chris go through the motions. Chris was crushed, but thankful that he didn’t have to go through the pain and humiliation of a rejected proposal.
Ashley made her decision that J.P. was the one, so there was no reason to let Ben get on his knee. Before Ben even had a chance to talk, Ashley should have immediatley told him how she felt. I don’t blame Ben for being angry at how Ashley handled the final rose ceremony! It was a nice change to see the person rejected actually showing some true emotions!
Do you think it was wrong of Ashley to let Ben propose to her? Let us know what you think, comment below!
