Only a few weeks after gay marriage was legalized in New York, Project Runway judge, and designer Michael Kors will be taking the plunge and tying the knot with his long time partner, Lance LePere. The pair were spotted in New York City’s City Hall a few days getting their marriage license. A witness told Life & Style Magazine: “They were both very casually dressed. He was really nice and let the girls at the office take his picture.”
Lance LePere has known Michael Kors since the early 90′s when Lance worked for Michael Kors’ company as an intern in Paris. Their relationship blossomed from there and being abroad the pair knew that they were the “ones” for each other. Lance LePere has recently stated that: “We share a certain level of taste, an American point of view, and I think we like to play with Americana. Over the years and the day-to-day process of dreaming together, things just naturally fell into place.”
A big congratulations to the happy couple, we can’t wait to hear all the details of their big day!
