Pre-Orders For Survivor: Thailand & Survivor: The Amazon DVDs Now Accepted

August 08, 2011 09:00 AM by Ryan Haidet

Since the news first surfaced that Survivor: Thailand and Survivor: The Amazon were soon to be released on DVD via Amazon.com, pre-orders for each season are now being accepted.  But that’s not all, official cover art for the DVDs have also been unleashed (see inside article for Survivor: The Amazon DVD cover art).  How much are the DVDs and what kind of bonus features will be included?  Read on to find out more!

Late last week, pre-orders were listed for each season exclusively on Amazon.com at $31.49.  As far as special features, both editions will be very similar to recent Survivor DVD releases.  Each season is expected to include exit interviews, Early Show interviews and several featurettes focusing on the cast and location.  No commentaries or in-depth features.

Although no release date has been set for these seasons, it is anticipated the DVDs will be available in September.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Tuesday, September 13 release since Survivor: South Pacific premieres the following evening on CBS.

With these releases, the first 10 seasons of Survivor are available on DVD along with season 20 — Heroes Vs. Villains.

Are you excited about these DVDs?  Which season would you like to see next on the DVD production line?

    YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!

Today, no joke, I was thinking about why they were not on DVD yet. lol. I was just looking for info on S23, sooo happy.! Love the cover arts <3 I's prefer it is sexy Erinn was on the cover of thailand instead of Ghandia, seeing as Erinn made it a lot further.

Love Amazon art too! Love to see Deena instead of Butch though. Deena was sooo awesome, she surprised me as an aggressive player, Butch did literally nothing at all. I keep forgetting who he is lol. Or Alex could be there to make 3 men.

GUATEMALA NEXT PLZ JEFFY PROBST/MARK BRUNETTE!

    thanks! little late though lolol
