It’s about to get spicy up in here! Top Chef has added celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse to its judges’ table. Read on to find out why the show has added the popular chef…
Bam! Emeril Lagasse will serve up some flavor as a new judge on Bravo’s Top Chef. We could come up with so many puns, but we’ll just tell you what we know right now.
New York Daily News is reporting that the new judge will also be joined by Hugh Acheson who was a competitor on Top Chef Masters. The duo is set to bring a new freshness when the show debuts for its ninth season this fall.
Don’t worry, you’re favorite faces of Top Chef will still be around. Host Padma Lakshmi and judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons will still bring down the hammer on the cheftestants.
Two new judges aren’t the only shake ups the Emmy-winning show will see. The report says the show will travel to Austin, San Antonio and Dallas, Texas when the show returns.
Emeril Lagasse is an accomplished chef, author and TV personality that will no doubt bring his Cajun-style influence to the show. He’s been featured on Top Chef in the past and we can’t wait to see how he does as a judge.
What do you think of the Top Chef changes. Are there too many faces or will the addition of Emeril Lagasse and Hugh Acheson give it the right amount of flare? We almost said bam — but that would be too easy!
