Blake Shelton made a dive into pop stardom on the first season of NBC’s The Voice, and since the show, Blake has been rocking and raising hell everywhere! Blake Shelton even admitted that: “you’re supposed to raise hell when you come to a concert,” when he hit the stage this weekend at the Midland County Fair. Blake Shelton, who has been visiting cities on his nationwide tour, was determined to bond with his fans, by sharing stories of his life in between performances. Before performing a cover of George Strait’s “All My Exes Live In Texas,” Shelton explained that the reason he relates to that song is because it rings true for himself. In fact, before he met his wife, fellow country crooner Miranda Lambert, Blake said that the only reason he got into music was “to meet women.”
But, that was not all that Blake Shelton shared with his fans as he went on to add of his induction into the Grand Ole Opry Hall of Fame: “Singing country music, that’s what I like to do.” Throughout the show, Blake shared stories of growing up in Oklahoma, and how each one of his family members has a different taste in music. So, what did the country star have to say about his new wife? Blake Shelton joked: “Yes! I’m rich!” and then he rocked out the crowd with his hit “Hillbilly Bone,” joined by his wife, who took the place of Trace Adkins in the duet.
Sounds to us like Blake Shelton’s concerts sure are a great time – have you ever been to one? Let us know how you liked him!
