Michelle Money Grieving As Father Loses His Battle To Cancer

Bachelor Pad 2 star Michelle Money has been dealt a devastating blow. Her father, Scott Edward Cartwright, has lost his battle to colon cancer.
Bachelor Pad 2′s, Michelle Money, introduced the world to her father’s battle with cancer when the show premiered. She assured viewers that she would put the $250,000 prize towards cancer research should she win.
Money has revealed the news to Us Weekly that her father has died. He lost his battle to colon cancer on Sunday (August 14), but he “died knowing how loved he was” and was “surrounded by family.”
Michelle has received an outpouring of love from fans who took the time to send well wishes.
She took to her Twitter account saying, “Thank you to all for the love and prayers. My dad loved getting tweets from those of u who did. The suffering is done. He is at peace.”
Michelle added,” But his life was cut far too short. I am praying that I can use my dads strength and reach out and bring awareness to this awful cancer.”
Michelle Money updated her Twitter account on Monday with the news that her mother’s mom passed away just 24 hours after Michelle’s father did.
