Everyone’s got there eyes on Kim Kardashian’s wedding, but we found another public personality that tied the knot — American Idol’s Scott MacIntyre.

The season eight American Idol contestant wed girlfriend Christina Teich on August 18th in Scottsdale, Arizona. A Thursday is an interesting choice for a wedding, but maybe he wanted to avoid the Kardashian spotlight.

According to MacIntyre’s representative, the couple said “I do” in front of 200 guests mixed with family and friends.

The newlyweds met in 2003 during a community theater production of The Music Man.

Scott MacIntyre is a former Idol wannabe, so, of course, he serenaded his bride during the ceremony. What was his song of choice? According to People magazine, I Wanna Be There.

The couple will head to Kauai, Hawaii where they will honeymoon.

Scott MacIntyre was the first ever blind contestant on American Idol and he was deemed an “inspiration” by Paul Abdul.

Congratulations go out to the happy couple! Next up, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.
