During one of the commercial breaks on tonight’s episode of Big Brother 13, we were treated to the first promo for Survivor: South Pacific. It makes sense that we got our first glimpse at the upcoming season since the entire cast was announced this week — including the return of Benjamin “Coach” Wade and Ozzy Lusth. What all was showcased during the promo? Read on to find out!
Despite today’s announcement about Coach and Ozzy, there was no mention of them during this first commercial — they’ll probably have their own commercial like “Boston Rob” Mariano and Russell Hantz did last season. Instead, this promo focused entirely on several new players.
“I’m gonna redefine the game of Survivor,” 24-year-old John Cochran of the Savaii (red) tribe said.
Then we were shown 22-year-old Sophie Clarke (blue) of the Upolu tribe as she yelled out orders during a challenge. “Am I the smartest person here? I’m the brains behind the operation,” she said.
19-year-old Brandon Hantz, also of the Upolu tribe, was only featured in the promo to introduce himself as Russell’s nephew.
Finally, 27-year-old Whitney Duncan closed out the commercial. “I certainly wasn’t expecting to get in my underwear so quickly,” she said. “But you know what, we don’t have swimsuits. So what do you do?”
Which castaway is your favorite so far? Are you happy Coach and Ozzy are back for another season? Sound off and leave us a comment below!
