Yesterday Taylor Armstrong, from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said her final goodbye to her estranged husband Russell Armstrong. Keep reading to find out what Taylor said and who was in attendance at the private service.
It has been over a week since Russell Armstrong, who was only 47, took his own life. Yesterday family and friends gathered to say their final goodbyes in Burbank, California. Taylor was surrounded by friends and most of the cast mates of the Bravo reality show; Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof and Camille Grammar were all in attendance.
Taylor was brave enough to get up at the service and say a few words about Russell. According to RumorFix Taylor wore her wedding ring and told the 150 people in attendance, “People didn’t know the Russell, I knew.”
The obvious people missing from the ceremony were Russell’s side of the family. According to RadarOnline, Russell’s family was invited to attend the memorial by Taylor, but they declined. The Armstrong side of the family will be having their own service for Russell in Texas.
A source close to the family shared with RadarOnline, “Let’s face it, there is no love lost between Taylor and Russell’s family. Russell’s family wanted no part of the memorial, they felt it was all for Taylor.” It has been said that Taylor was relieved the family decided not to be part of the service, so she could just say her goodbyes.
It’s a tragic story for all those involved, especially Russell’s three children. Taylor and Russell had one child together, Kennedy, who is five. We hope all those who loved Russell find a way to move on and find peace with his death.
