With all the recent revelations about the current path of Hurricane Irene, we now know that this massive storm is heading straight toward New Jersey and New York. How are your favorite Reality TV stars preparing for the storm? Read on to find out!

If you haven’t heard the latest news, Hurricane Irene is headed straight for the New York/New Jersey area this weekend, and with so many reality television stars in the area, er, okay mostly Real Housewives, we are sure you are all wondering what they are doing to prepare for the massive storm. Hollywood Life recently interviewed a few of the “housewives,” and here is what they had to say about their hurricane preparations:

Countess LuAnn: “We are hunkering down in the Hamptons. All my weekend guests canceled their trip. Have been through these storms before so just am preparing with food and water—then we are all set light the candles and catch up on reading, play scrabble , cook and weather out the storm!”

Cindy Barshop: “I am waiting it out in the Hamptons thus far. Depending on reports, I may head back into the city if it’s safer for Jesse and Zoe.”

Alex McCord: “I’ve done a column for Metro about what to do for the hurricane. It’s in tomorrow’s print edition (not online). Otherwise I am monitoring it’s progress online, staying home and battening down the hatches. If we need to evacuate, we will.”

Karen Gravano of Vh1′s Mob Wives said: “I’m doing absolutely nothing. I got some peanut butter and hoping that the storm doesn’t come crashing through my windows. I took in stuff from the balcony. I don’t think it’s really hitting me. I think since I survived Mob Wives season one, I can definitely survive a hurricane.”

Twitter is also exploding with Tweets about Hurricane Irene. Real Housewife, Carolyn Manzo Tweeted earlier that she will be heading to California and leaving Irene behind, while Teresa Guidice did not mention whether or not she would be in Hurricane Irene’s path, she did wish that everyone in on the East Coast well and said she hopes they remain safe.

Celebrity Apprentice’s Holly Robinson Peete recently reported on Twitter that she and her family were boarding up their home, and heading on a family vacation. Snooki of Jersey Shore Tweeted earlier today: “Hope our Shore house doesn’t blow away,” but we haven’t heard much out of the other cast members, so we can only assume that they are all evacuating, as New Jersey is in a state of emergency and will be starting evacuations.

Did we miss a star? If you know of another reality star who is preparing for Hurricane Irene, comment and let us know what they are doing to stay safe. To all of our New York and New Jersey readers, we hope the storm misses you all, stay safe and all of our prayers are with you this weekend!
