The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills season premiere has been in limbo, since the suicide of Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband. Keep reading to find out what Bravo has decided to do with season two of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
Bravo has been relatively quiet since the passing of Russell Armstrong. It has been reported that Bravo was going to push back or even cancel the second season completely. So what has Bravo decided to do? Well, they decided the show must go on – the premiere date of September 5th will stay put!
We are finally hearing from Bravo executives and they confirm that the season will air as planned on September 5th. The President of Bravo, Frances Berwick, told US Weekly, “Given that these episodes were filmed months ago the producers of show taped a brief interview this week with several of the cast-members to introduce the premiere. Re-editing of the episodes is still underway.” But a inside source also told Us Weekly, “All reports of a suicide special are wrong.”
The network is not taking Russell’s suicide lately. Bravo has partnered with Entertainment Industries Council, Inc., to raise awareness about suicide. Also, during the premiere viewers will see several Public Service Announcements regarding suicide prevention.
With all the media coverage surrounding Russell’s suicide, do you agree with Bravo’s decision to keep the premiere date the same? Let us know what you think, comment below!
